Visit to Westfield shopping mall and Piccadilly Circus

It was 16th jan 2010,a rainy day in London.I experienced the snowfall days n foggy days n also the rainy day here.We planned to go to Westfield Mall and Piccadilly Circus.As it was saturday,week end day the trains lines are under maintenance.So we have to take the alternate and shortest way to reach there.It was raining since morning,but around 10am the rain was stopped.So it was easier to start in a fresh mood.We started around 10.15am.We took bus no.83from Brent town Hall bus stop(which is our nearest bus stop) to Alperton station bus stop.This bus goes towards Ealing Broadways.It took us 15 min to reach Alperton station n there we had to catch the train to Hammersmith.We punched our ticket n wait there for train towards Cockfosters.It was a different line train for me.The train came after 10 minutes,we got into that.After 9 stoppage Hammersmith station came.There is a shopping arcade in the station premises.It was huge.Lots of shops like Tesco,Boots,Mc.Donald's,The Perfume Shop etc was there.It was raining outside heavily here.We had to change the tube line,had to catch the train from Pink Line.But due to maintenance, the pink line was closed.So we had to go to Shepherd's Bush by Rail Replacement bus.After 15 min the bus came n after 15 min we got down at Shepherd's bush bus stop.From there it was just walking distance of 5 minutes.Lastly we reached at Westfield Shopping mall,which is the largest mall in United Kingdom.There are shops like Debenhams,Aldo,Boots,French Connection,Disney Shop,Blanco,Deichmann,Desa,DKNY Jeans,Dorothy Perkins,Adams Kids,Dwell,Folli Follie,GAP,Gerry Weber,H & M,HMV,Marks & Spencers,House of Fraser(the book shop),Kathmandu,LeSenza,L.K.Bennett,River Island,Pumpkin Patch,Sports Direct,The Body Shop,Zara,TopShop etc.There was a car show was going on by the Cartoon network channel to promote its series FLASH n DASH,a car show.Rick is fascinated by cars,so he rushed into there n started playing with the remote controlled cars.One lady in that group can speak Hindi,she came to us n ask about India.She is an Isralian,been to India 5 times.This time she is working to make money then she will fly to India in March.Rick wanted a car from there,Jit bought it for him in half price as that lady called Amber sold us in that price.We moved around the mall,but could not move the whole mall in 2 hrs.It was really huge.Then we felt hungry,went to Hammersmith for lunch.I had something new this time.That is Chicken Doner.Its a kind of Kabab served with rice or fries,salads n pieces of rotis.It was different,but tasty.Rick had Sandwitch.He can have that type of food very eagerly,but egg should be there.The rain was stopped that time.We planned to move towards Piccadilly Circus as its 4pm n its going to sunset.Its nice to be there in the evening.We took the Piccadilly line train to Piccadilly Circus n got down there.After coming out from the station it was superb,as if am in a shooting place of movies.Its a place where lots of movies are shoot here,mainly the songs.Then we moved around the place n then went to the Souvenir shop COOL BRITTANIA it is the biggest souvenir shop in London.It was a lovely n authentic shop.The things available was superb.It seemed that everything i should carry to India.I bought some stuffs.It was already night.We had to come back home.We took the Bakerloo line from Piccadilly Circus n got down at Wembley Central.With us Amol was there.He went to his home by 79 bus n we took 83 to Brent Town Hall.We reached at 7.15pm at home.On that morning a guy from India joined at Wembley Park flat.He is Raja Ramesh from LBI India.He will be here till 27th February.After reaching home we start some cooking n had our dinner together.
